ISP Technologies is proud to play a role in providing sound to a new Irish pub, C.S. Finnegan’s, which opened on St. Patrick’s Day in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, WA. The owner of the pub, Gareth Hughes, is also the owner of the successful Irish pub and restaurant, The Celtic Swell, in West Seattle. Hughes wanted to expand into the neighborhood where he grew up, and so C.S. Finnegan’s in Belltown was born.
After discussing the project with Tom Martin of TommySound, it was decided that a full High Definition Distributed System™( HDDS) would be the best option to supply the sound for the pub. The patent pending HDDS system uses all self powered speakers that operate using line level signal that is sent over Cat5 cables run from a Master Control Module. A single Master Control Module is capable of controlling multiple rooms or ‘zones’ with remote volume controls available to adjust the volume from the various locations.
The system for C.S. Finnegan’s consisted of a Master Control Module, ten SM650B wall speakers, three SB 400 subwoofers and a RM10 remote level control. The system covered not only the main open portion of the pub, but also the upstairs area which will be used for live music. With such a versatile system in place, C.S. Finnegan’s patrons will be able to enjoy music from the radio, acoustic sets or full live bands. For more information on the ISP HDDS products, visit www.ispproaudio.com. For more information on C.S.
