calf barn twoThe City of Rochester Hills renovated the historic 16 acre 1927 Van Hoosen Farm including buildings housing the Rochester Hills Museum and several barns and outbuildings, including the Calf Barn. The Calf Barn in particular received special attention and was turned into a venue fitting for wedding receptions, showers, various community shows and other museum functions.

The $600,000.00 renovation of the Calf Barn included an ISP Technologies High Definition Distributed System (HDDS) for the 40 foot by 80 foot venue. Able to seat approximately 160 people, a sound system utilizing custom designed ISP Technologies HDDS Pendant Speakers was installed by the Wixom office of leading audio video integrator I.COMM.

Each of the Pendant speakers boasts a 6.5″ bi-amplifies two way co-axial speaker with 150 Watts RMS with continuous 118db SPl. Both power and audio run down CAT6 wire from the 6 zoned Master Control unit for ease of installation. The beauty of the HDDS gear from ISP, is that with each speaker being amplified, the system actually has fidelity which is unlike the more common 70 volt systems typically installed for distributed sound. With patents and patents pending on the ISP HDDS gear, it offers a truly unique and amazing sounding system for any venue.
